Explore our exhibition 65,000 Years a short history of Australian Art in a tour designed for visitors who are blind or have low vision.
Please see one of our friendly staff for assistance at the front desk or if you require a device or headphones for this experience. Since there are artworks and plinths on the floorspace, it is best to attend with an assistant or alternatively we can provide assistance at the Gallery.
Scan the QR code at the entrance of the gallery to access an audio recording of wall labels and audio descriptions of selected artworks marked with an AD symbol. It is best to use a QR app such as QR scanner.
Unfortunately not all artworks are audio described. Community consultation and approvals for artworks to be displayed on the website have been sought however some artworks could not be approved for this use.
