Reopening in 2025, the Potter Museum of Art will launch a new schools program providing engaging, hands-on educational experiences that align with current curricula and are closely connected to our rotating thematic exhibitions and permanent art collections.
The 2025 Schools Program responds to the landmark exhibition 65,000 Years: A Short History of Australian Art, offering curriculum-aligned tours and a limited number of hands-on workshops, catering to school Grades 3–12.
The tours and workshops are developed in partnership with Ngarrngga, an Indigenous-led collaboration between the University of Melbourne’s Faculty of Education, Indigenous Knowledge Institute and Indigenous Studies Unit.
