Tertiary Resources

Engage with the 65,000 Years exhibition with resources created by Ngarrngga

A suite of dedicated teaching resources will be available to all faculties for the upcoming exhibition, 65,000 Years: A Short History of Australian Art. These are developed in partnership with Ngarrngga, the Indigenous-led collaboration between the University of Melbourne’s Faculty of Education, Indigenous Knowledge Institute and Indigenous Studies Unit.

Ngarrngga is a Taungurung word meaning to know, to hear, to understand. The Ngarrngga vision is for all Australian students to have the opportunity to deeply connect with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander knowledge systems, histories and cultures.

These digital resources will be available in March 2025.
