You are invited to join us for The giant flower festival - a series of free public events celebrating the opening of A velvet ant, a flower and a bird.
The program will unfold across two days through floor talks, conversations and live performances that offer expanded curatorial perspectives and invite closer engagement with our immersive new exhibition.
Curator Chus Martínez will be in residence, leading conversations with artists and bringing audiences into the practices behind newly commissioned works.
The Potter will be open for extended hours from 11am to 8pm on Friday 20 February, and during regular hours from 11am to 5pm on Saturday 21 February. Our on-site cafe, Residence, will be open during these hours.
All events are free and booking is not required.

- Bookings are not required, however capacity limits may apply to some events. Access will be provided on a first come, first served basis.
- Seating is available within the exhibition.
- Floor talks will require standing for up to 30 minutes at a time. A small number of portable stools are available.
- Conversations in the Primrose Potter Studio are fully seated with infrared hearing assistance available in this space.
- Please note that performances by Ingela Ihrman include the use of fragrance. People with fragrance allergies are advised to avoid the performance space at those times.
