Visions: Selected Landscapes from the Russell and Mab Grimwade Miegunyah Collection

When

This exhibition has now ended.

Location

The Potter Museum of Art, Cnr of Swanston St and Masson Rd, Parkville

This intimately-scaled exhibition displayed a selection of paintings, watercolours and prints drawn from the Grimwade collection; artists included William Strutt, John Skinner Prout, Louis Buvelot and Arthur Boyd.

A special feature was a suite of fourteen engravings from Absalom West's 1812–14 publication Views in New South Wales. These rare prints show detailed views of the environment around Sydney during European settlement.

Curated by Christopher Menz and Joanna Bosse.
